Yamamoto Neoprene is more densely packed than most neoprenes, which means better anti-compression properties and longer product life. It is also extremely stretchy and insulating, perfect for cold water.

Neoprene panels are glued together and then blind-stitched to achieve a flexible yet durable watertight seam. Then each cross seam on the jacket exterior is stamped with Glue Dots® to help seal and strengthen.

Panels inside the hood help to eliminate air trapped in between ears and neoprene. This migrates the suction effect in the ears and simplifies pressure equalization during dives.
